Hi my name is Rugby and I am a terrier Chihuahua mix. I live with my Mommy's and 3 brothers in Northern California. My brother’s names are Noah Nathaniel (Border collie lab mix) Nacho (same breed as me) and Sebastian (he's a cat). We also have two turtles (Mr. and Mrs. Slowski) and a Beta fish who we named Rory Gilmore.

I am a very special child (as my Mama Kristin tells everyone) because I am paralyzed. I am not able to walk due to an accident but that does not stop me! I wear diapers because I do not have control of my bladder and I have my own room complete with a crib decorated in Elmo and a closet filled with clothes. My mommy bathes me every single day so I do not get bladder infections (from having to wear a diaper all day) and believe it or not I have no pain (that’s the good part of being paralyzed). My Mommy "T" is a massage therapist so I get the royal treatment which helps to keep my back muscles nice and toned. I might get a doggie wheel chair but I am not too excited about that because I like to drag myself around. I go swimming in the bath tub a lot which keeps my front legs strong so I can get around.

I had a girlfriend named Butters but it did not last long....she lives on the wild side if ya know what I mean; so now I am just looking to make friends. 

My mommies are the best! Mama Kristin is a neat freak and gives me a scary look when I leave my toys out because she spends so much time cleaning the house. She tucks me in to my crib every night and never forgets to tell me that she loves me. Mama "T" calls me her "pooper scooper" and she makes money rubbing naked people all day long and then she gives me massages on days when my back hurts. Both of my Mommy’s are Psychology Majors so if I get sad they know how to cheer me up.

My brothers are cool. Nacho has Epilepsy just like my Mama Kristin so they are all "buddy buddy". Noah has an anxiety disorder that causes him to scratch himself so he is being treated with psych meds (Saint John Wort)...lol. Sebastian has gone undiagnosed but we're convinced that he has ADHD....the bouncing off the walls kind of gave that away. In case you have not figured it out by now, this is the house for sick furry kids....you will get the best care in the world!

I am off to watch my favorite show Gilmore Girls. We have all seven seasons on DVD and Lorelai just adopted Paul Anka; her doggie who is also "special" in a weird sort of way.
