Slow down :(

UPDATE: June 16th: OK – things should be zipping along now. We are in the final stages of migrating to the new servers. A few minor ‘bugs’ we are ironing out (like the recent crazy doggie dollar bonus )- but please report anything unusual via ‘contact us’

UPDATE: June 13th: Looks like the problem is still there. The dog slaves are working on it right now.

We had some server issues this morning – so the site slowed down.

Things are back to normal now.

We’ll keep monitoring this.

The main reason for the slow down is due to the growth of the community. We are working very hard to make sure the site run as fast as possible.

Thanks for all the doggie patience and support.

A bit slow

You may notice the site is a bit slow (then usual) over the next couple of days.

We are in the process of migrating to new servers.

We are doing this in stages – so that you can still have your daily MDS access.

Towards the end of the week you should see some major speed improvements!!

UPDATE: May 30th: We are now on the new servers and things should be a lot quicker. We still have some work to be done to make it zip along even more. Some of you may still be seeing some unusal behaviour- this is due to something called DNS in the internet world – essentially the internet needs to know about our server changes. It takes typically 48 hours – and its out of our control – so its up to the internet god to make it happen.

Server issues :(

We had some server issues last night – but its all working now.

The recent growth in our community means we now need more servers to handle all the doggies out there. So we are working to improve this and hopefuly – no more unexpected server down time again.

'Enhancements'??

First, I want to thank everyone in the community for their patience with the recent changes. With your help – we were able to resolve many of the issues.

We understand, that from the user side – many of these ‘enhancements’ added more usability issues and may not seem useful at the initial stage. Many of these ‘user’ enhancements were added to lay the groundwork for our growth (and as we grow, you should start seeing some of these benefits). Sometimes, we get it right (Yay!!) and other times we totally miss the mark :(. But with all your help – we will work hard to ensure this is a community that you will continue to return and be a proud member.
