After the tornado
(Greensburg,
Ks.)
The
story begins with the rescuers finding this poor little guy they named Ralphie.
Someone had already taken him under their wing but weren’t equipped to adopt
him.
Ralphie,
scared and starved, joined his rescuers…
I
wouldn’t think anything could live thru this… but we were
wrong.
This little lady also survived that wreckage.
Here
she is just placed in the car – scared, but safe.
and
then… they are no longer alone!
Instant
friends, they comforted each other while in the car.
Add
two more beagles found after that…
the
more, the merrier!
Oh
boy, a new traveler to add to the mix…(Note: the cat coming over the seat
needing shelter…)
Now
just how is this going to work? (and remember they are all strange to
one another)
IIt’s
going to work just fine, thank you very much!
Wow!
The things we learn from our animal friends…
If
only all of mankind could learn such valuable lessons as this. Lessons of
instant friendship. Of peace and harmony by
way of respect for one another—no matter one’s color or
creed.
These
animals tell you… ‘It’s just good to be alive and with others.’

Valentine's Day Dance
Astrid has told us that since she just had a party on her page, that she will not be having a Valentine’s Day party. So we’re going to have one instead. It will last all day & night, and will be on February 14. We will send out invitations. They will either be on your page, or in your email. I’ve been people tagged three times. So I guess it’s time to do this. I actually don’t like talking about myself. That is why it took three people to get me to do this.
Here it goes!
1) I LOVE DOGS! (Guess that’s obvious)
2) I work at a hotel that actually is not pet friendly, but they will let me bring my dogs in the lobby.
3) I used to volunteer on a regular basis at a no-kill animal shelter here. And I plan to go back soon.
4) I like doing crafts. People tell me I’m really good at embroidery (I’ll have to show you guys a few baby quilts I’ve done)
5) I’m getting pretty good with the computer. (A few of my friends on mydogspace have inspired me to keep practicing on the computer. So it’s their fault ).
6) I LOVE GARTH BROOKS & ALAN JACKSON! (Two of my favorite song artists ).
7) I’m not Irish. I am Dutch, German, French, English & Croatian, but I’m not Irish.

I got the idea to make this blog from Chanceandsugar’s bark on danemummie’s latest blog.
Without us (and of course our dogs), mydogspace wouldn’t be here.
So no matter how much crap we get from other people (and their dogs) let’s get up, brush ourselves off, and have some fun! Because thats what it is, JUST "CRAP." And the people (and their dogs) that give you this "CRAP" obviously don’t know you very well.
Yes I’m talking about Monty’s situation, but I’m also talking about something that happened to me & Kayde a few weeks ago (before the situation where I had to cancel & rejoin). This person that owns a pitbull that they trained to fight came on my page and told me unless I wanted him to stick his little pink pitbull finger up Kayde’s butt (I used better words), we should stay away from his page. Well we didn’t stay away totally. We flagged him quite a few times.
But anyways, this website is what we make it. I’m having fun because I made it fun for me.

1) I’m actually quiet in real life. But when I bark, I can wake the dead.
2) I’m a squirrel chaser.
3) Mom says I’m a goofy guy.
4) I have three "babies". One is a stuffed yellow dog. One is a terrycloth zebra. And one is a brown stuffed teddy bear.
5) I’m the biggest dog in our pack. I weigh 11 lbs.
6) It took me 6 months to learn how to speak, and about a month in total to learn all my other tricks.
7) Mom puts me in the hot tub in the summertime before my nana treats the water. I look like a drowned rat swimming around!
