We have quite a few things to bark about today.

1)  Cooper from Dogpack has been having quite a few problems because of the living conditions he was in before he was rescued.

2)  Zack & Quincy have not been on here for a while.  But we just received word that they had another death in the family.  Their human daddy died unexpectedly last Thursday.  They have requested NO PHONE CALLS, but emails & barks are welcome.  This is the 2nd death in less then a year for their family.

3)  Liberty from bkpierce is in need of donations.  There is a blog up about it on their page.  She hasn't been eating, and has lost 20 lbs!  There's a link to her fundraiser in her blog.

4)  We (RileysMommy) are raising money for Anastasia from brenpooh .  All the information is in our latest blog, including the fundraiser link.

We are Emergancy Barking tonight because one of our own Emergancy Barkers is having problemes of her own .

Anistasia is having problems using her back legs. As a matter of fact she is draging them around behind her. Her mom is trying to get the money together so she can have the tests she needs. Please stop by her page and offer her our GODIG support and prayers!

We have got another Emergency bark.Liberty has set out a blog to help raise money so she can get the treatment she needs form her vet. Right now Liberty has been not eating well at all, her mom force feeds her. Her problem could be as simple as a tooth infection to as bad as liver disease or cancer. Right now Liberty and her family need all the support they can get. Weather donating or helping spread the word, or both, all will be appreciated.  Let’s show them that GODIG support!!

Sorry I haven't barked in awhile!

My mommy who helps me on here has had some really bad days with her fibromyalgia.

Here is what I have been up to since my last

bark. I have chewed some more of the wood

furniture, but even so I'm slowing down on my

chewing. I also got a hold of my momma glasses and broke them. I literally ate a part of the lens. I heard momma needed new glasses and had a appointment made with the eye doctor, so I thought it was ok. My momma had to go a whole week without any glasses to wear. She had shorten my walks, because she didn't feel comfortable walking me, when she didn't see so well.

I also learnt how to open the door to the treat cabinet. I haven't taken any treats out

yet, I wait for my momma to give me a treat.

My momma is afraid I will help myself one of these day!

My mommy decided I should do a movie. I'm doing a remake of the Gremlins.

No makeup was needed since I already look like a Gremblin. What do you think? My mommy is sure not to feed me after midnight!

I will multiply if I get wet.

So if you want your very own Gigi I can jump in some water for you. If your mommy and Daddy don't mind chewed up furniture.

Wait a minute I hate getting wet! I do not like baths and I won't go out in the rain.

So forget about it!

        We have just added our newest GODIGger Sophie, to the member list. Sophie is a beautiful 11year old German Shepherd, who lives with 4 other terrific Shepherd puppers. Sophie was mom to the sweet Grace, who went to the bridge recently, and left them all heartbroken.Sophie loves to play with her ball, eats all kinds of treats, as well as nibbling on the birds that her sibling Nora catches and brings to her! Sophie was a rescue, and wasn't she lucky to be adopted by her great family! Lets all send welcome barks, and pal requests at mareburns.

GODIG (Good Old Dogs Interest Group) welcomes all MDS dogs who are entering their second (or third!) decade. Dogs who want to join don't need an invitation, just come by and bark!

Starting with the next new member, we are going to publish their name and information at the top of the GODIG home page, instead of sending out individual barks. Please check the GODIG page to keep up with recent "happenings". We don't want you to miss out on our great newspaper the Aroooo, new members barks, or any other information that applies to us seniors! Summer is coming, so let us know about your summer plans.
