Happy Indepawdence Day.  We is sneeky on da puter cuz mommy is buzy fur a few minets.  Oh no I (Sable) donut fink Iz weady fur today! Dem poppers scarez me weelly bad turribl...I donut eben likez fur to go to da out to go potty. Mommy or Daddy habs to draggded me to da out. So I fink I will jus be staying behind de couch or under de bed until all dem poppers stop. But here dem poppers jus keep a goin anna goin a week before and about a week afer. Dey last FUREVER! OOOOHHHHH MMMEEEEE what am I going to do? Mebbe I iz gonna move to where da poppers donut be allowed.

Yep, Mom is up early this morning. She has something called a cricket in her neck and says she hurts and was up all night. We're not sure why she's got a cricket in her neck. She might have gotten some sleep if she would have just put it outside cuz those things chirp really loud! And we looked for it to chase...cuz we love chasing crickets but we couldn't find it. She said it's a pain in her neck...how can little crickets be a pain in the neck...we don't get it. Think it has anything to do with Friday the 13th...Nah..mom says that's just another day.

Wow Ranger sounds like a fun day going to the beach...We're sorry to hear about your little furend.  We used to have a kitty brother..but he got old and sick and so you an prolly guess what happened.  Mom doesn't like to talk about it.  What's waggin. We had a ruff day yesterday our Daddy and our Jason was hit by a drunk driver. We wrote a blog about it. They are both ok--Thank God. Daddy drives a Dodge and saids well now we know it's RAM TUFF cuz it gotted rammed real good. He's so funny sometimes. They aren't even sore today except for Daddy's had is where he was gripping the steering wheel so hard to keep the truck from flipping. We just wanted to stop by and say ALOHA. We are getting so excited we're already doing the hula!! We're just reminding everyone about our luau. We hope you can come! Pass the word and tell all your furends they are invited too!

Wow Ranger...sounds like you had a big day yesterday.  It stormed here most of yesterday and today so we just kinda laid around and did nothing.  Mom says we're really good at that...she thinks she's so funny.  Tell mom not to be sad cuz you're still just a pup.  I'll be 6 in June and Sable will be 8 in June.  You're only as old as you feel---and I feel like I'm still just a baby!

I have to tell you what’s happened. See I (Chi) had been scratching on my side a lot and when mommy looked at it she thought I had a hot spot…not sure what that is but she says it’s not good. I’ve never had one of those before. So do you know what she did? She shaved my hair off around it…I have a…a…a…BALD SPOT. I’m so embarrassed…it’s humiliating…it’s AAAAAAA!!!!.. I mean I’m Chi-Chi…I’m a princess…I’m a DIVA!! She says she’s gonna cut my hair shorter so it won’t be so noticeable but still…I don’t know if I can be seen in public for a while…and our luau is coming up!!! What am I going to do? Turns out it’s not a hot spot looks like a bug bite but mommy is keeping it clean and putting medicine on it to keep it from itching and heal up. She says if I would be more of a lady and not roll around in the grass and dirt..these things might not happen…CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT? We hope you're having a great holiday weekend.  Will you be getting to grill out...maybe getting a hot dog or a hamburger....YUMMY YUM YUM.  We can't wait.  Daddy always "accidentally" drops something so he can say well guess we can give that to the girls...hehehe.  Mommy knows what he's doing but she doesn't say anything!!  Anyway..have a ROCKIN WEEKEND!
