....and then.....

Did you ever notice how Mami's seem to know something is wrong even when you can't tell her?

We woke up Friday and I couldn't move. Well, I could raise my head, but I just couldn't seem to move the lower half of my body.

Well, Mami freaked out right away. She took me to the vet and the vet told her I had a back sprain. It was probably from jumping off the bed. The visit started out fine. The tech talked really nice to me, but then I was ...... violated.  It was awful!  They kept saying it was necessary, but why???? Couldn't they just feel my forehead to tell if I had a fever? Mami finally took me home.  I'm not going back there again if I can help it!

But I guess being sick wasn't all bad, since Mami gave me tons of attention this weekend. She carried me everywhere, lifted me on and off the couch and gave me some peanut butter that tasted a bit bitter in the middle. I think she may have slipped me a woofie.  It's the new dog date drug; I know I was feeling loopy after I ate the PB.

Anyway, I feel much better now, but Mami has me stuck in the kennel today.  I guess she's trying to prevent me from hurting myself jumping on and off the bed, but all she had to do is lower the bed! Mami makes everything so hard, it's a wonder she can understand anything about me at all!
