Question for multi-dog families? Help me out.

Chandler's mom here with a question for multi-dog families.

I am thinking about getting another dog. This one will be a puppy. They are only 1 week old, and terrier/chiuawa(sp?)/snouzer(sp?) mix.

Chandler's never been around other dogs much. My mom's dog is old and doesnt really care for Chandler much, but her female loves to play with him. Anyother dog he's been around he trys to be playful, it's either he doesnt know how to take them, or not sure what to think about it.

I dont really know what to expect with the new puppy, I've never had two dogs at once.

Any ideas/advice?
