Coming home
Hi! My name is Panda, and my new parents came and met me at a diner on I-70 last Sunday. It was snowing really bad and I could tell they were worried about making it home. We had to drive over an hour before we got to my new house! The roads were really icy and dad kept swerving on the road, which made my tummy feel funny. Before I knew it I had threw up all over mom's lap. Dad was laughing at mom. They pulled the car over and let me walk around for a bit and the fresh air made me feel lots better!
When we got home we walked around the house and they showed me my room. I like it alot because my bed is three times my size and my doggie dish always has food. I even have my own radio to listen to when I'm the only one at home. After exploring everything I whined for my people to take me outside, but they didn't seem to be listening, so to make it clear I piddled on the floor. It seems to work cuz right when I was mid-squat, mom scooped me up and took me outside until I went potty. Training my new parents seems to be going quite well, as I have not had to make such a clear statement again. They are now able to understand me when I need to go outside. Now I am working on trainging them on giving me treats. They are begining to learn that when they say "sit" (and I sit) they give me a treat. They seem to be very intellegent humans, and very affectionate as well...now if I could only train them to know when I want up on the couch....
