Dog Blog: The new dog

 The moms brought home a new dog. She's OK but I've been on medicine so I've been grumpy and not wanting to play.(I went to a HORRIBLE place where they cut my "stuff" off, the moms said I was neutered)  They tell me her name is Hope. She came from a really bad home and the moms are working really hard trying to house train her. They don't know much about her but she really has no manners. When I got my birthday cake she gobbled hers and came after my piece!!! That was just not right at all. Lady and I know better than to steal from someone elses plate. The moms got upset but I didn't get in trouble for growling and she didn't get into trouble for trying to gobble my cake. Hope seems ok but I don't think she knows shes a dog. She acts afraid a lot and the moms keep telling me that Lady and I should be nice to her till she is used to being free. They said she lived in a box all her life!!! I'm glad I never had to live in a box!!! I'm trying real hard to be nice to her. She doesn't even know how to play!!! I will teach her.
