My moms got me from some friends cause I didn't like their new room mates dog...we were always fighting and my new moms loved me and knew I would be happier being the only dog. Now I have 5 new friends to play with. Brock and Misty are the nicest to me but they sure are funny looking dogs and they talk funny too. Dude just treats me like I'm not there but thats ok cause he is kinda scary. He is like the boss of the house and mom Laura won't let me bark at him. Mom Patty lets me get away with lots of stuff like barking at Dude.

I am really happy here at my new home, I have a new friend Lady (she's VERY pretty) and a nice cat, Ciara, I like to play with her! I get to hide things in my "cave" and mom Patty doesn't let anyone take my things from there. (mom Laura goes in there and takes my things and that really aggravates me and mom Patty).I like living in the mountains even though I only get to go out on my leash and I'm not real thrilled about snow but I'm getting used to it.

 We found Hope at the Dessin Animal Shelter while we were just wandering through looking at all the dogs. Patty saw her in the last enclosure on the right and knew she had to help her. We asked about her and learned that Hope (originally named Hershey) had come from a "breeding kennel" and the owner had become overwhelmed. Instead of this person surrendering these poor little animals just kept breeding. Hope was never socialized except for breeding. We don't know her age. Her temperment is sugar sweet. She gets along with Neeko and Lady and is curious but wary of Ciara. She is no more "trained" than a 4 week old puppy and just as lovable! 

  Now she is HOME for good!!!
