I've been in the shelter twice. My first owners took me back there because they didn't have time for me. My second owners took me home but returned me when they had a baby. Then I found a good home but my parents got a divorce and I had to go live with the in-laws. They didn't want me, and I didn't like their little yippy dog, so my mom sold me in the newspaper.

I've never been so happy. I came home to Mommy and Daddy when Mommy was still overseas. Daddy was lonely and I kept him company until Mommy came home. It wasn't even very far- just down the street. I'm very needy and I crave lots of attention. Mommy and Daddy already had two cats - Calvin and Hobbes. At first, Calvin hated me and was all stressed out. But when Mommy came home, she straightened it all out. Now Calvin and I even sleep together sometimes.

I can't stand to see other dogs. I can't help it. I see one and I just go crazy. I hate that about myself. My shelter papers say I'm half shepherd and half boxer, but Mommy thinks I might be part Pit Bull. One time, a little black dog barked back and snipped me on my lip. That hurt.  So Mommy doesn't usually let me get close. Sometimes I'll bark and bark and bark, but then when the other owners say its OK, I get close, and I'll just sniff them. I do like Spot next door, and Susie on the other side, but she barks too much. Baxter down the street is cool too, but I still have a lot of work to do in that department. Mommy keeps talking about somebody named Cesar, but I don't know who that is...
