Hi, I'm Moscow. I was rescued by the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue and a wonderful person name Barbara fostered me until I found my forever family. I live with my people parents, Amanda and Mark and my dog-sister, Lily and cat-sister, Coco. I love my family very much. A close second would be my squeaky toys and tennis balls. When I am not hanging around the house napping you can find me outside in my yard playing with Lily. She thinks she is really fast, but I always catch her. My people mom tells me everyday that I am very handsome. I am hoping that the white shepherd next door thinks so too. Well that's me in a nut shell, I have to go check and see if there is any food left out on the counter.

Hi! I'm Lily! A little about me...I was just a teeny tiny puppy when my people parents saw that I was scheduled to be euthanized later that day. My parents jumped in the car and rescued me, they also rescued my twin sister, Maggie. Maggie now lives with a really nice family. We went to puppy kindergarten together and we stay in touch. We both just turned one-year old. I like to stay busy, I just finished my Flyball classes. I will pick those back up in the fall my mom said. For now I stay in shape by running sprints around the yard with my brother Moscow. Recently I adopted a kitten named, Coco. She was abandoned by her cat mommy when she was only a couple of days old. I love her as if she were my own puppy. I give her lots and lots of kisses. We cuddle together when we sleep and we play together when we're awake. Coco is about two months old now and she's a lot of fun to play with. That pretty much sums up me.

Lily and Moscow (even old dogs can learn new tricks) if you are looking for Flyball in the area, there is a new team, Heads or Tails, starting up in Roanoke, VA. We hold yearlong, walk-in classes on Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm at the Pooch Professor (www.roanokedogtrainer.com). Each walk-in, hour-long, pick up where you are, progress at your own speed class is $10, first class free! Bring a leash, buckle collar, harness if you got one, and either treats or toys for rewards if you are coming. We train using positive methods only.
