Hey, I'm Mira and I am a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Mix. My mommy and daddy adopted me when I was 6 weeks old from a shelter in Boca on June, 19th, 2008, their wedding day! I was the smallest in the litter and I' m still a bit shy around other dogs. But I go to the dogpark as much as possible to become more confident.
I love to be around kids and to give a lot of dog kisses. When I yawn it sounds like a cat. I I like to play with leafs instead of sticks and my favorite hobby is to sleep in mommys lap. I would consider myself spoiled, but I am also very well trained and listen to everything my parents say.
I hope to find many cute doggies to play and talk with!

Well it has been a strange week for us, our pipes froze up and then when they unthawed they broke. Mom is sure of the back ones but then she discovered that the cover for the couch was wet on the floor so she thinks something broke under there. (We live in a camper). Mom is so anxious to get her money so she can move us all to Texas. Her hours got cut at work so she said that she couldn't afford food and rent and the other bills that she has, so she talked to a friend of hers that runs a dog rescue and they donated food for us. Her friend told her to always ask that she has more food then she can use. She is also waiting for her tax papers so that she can get money from that too. Her friend with the new dog isn't talking to her anymore cause mom said that she was training her all wrong. So mom said ok that she has more important things on her mind. But that she will always be there if the lady needs her. Another neighbor is sick and mom is going to be helping to take care of her dogs while she is in the hospital. So that is what is going on with us. Mom says it will be a good week, cause she says so.

Sorry I haven't been barkin' much, but It's not easy to bark without da mom , is it? BOL BOL! It's is very cold here in NC, and tomorrow it might be in the 20's.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr! At least I got to play ball for a little while today. Mom was supposed to be out this afternoon at da eye dogtor, but she didn't go. Ya know why? Because her car wouldn't start! Boy was I surprised when she came back in the house saying naughty words. Then she called someplace called the AAA. Those are nice easy letters to remember. Too bad she didn't remember to close da car door well, and her lights were on all night long! Last week she didn't remember to put gas in da tank. Maybe da mom has da Ican'trememberitis? I don't forget to put food in MY tank when I'm hungry, or to wiggle under the covers to turn the lights out at night. Oops! She's giving me da look she gets when she eats sour pickles! I think I should get off of the 'puter now....
