Yay!
Aunt Billie came over to visit tonight! She and Mommy had crabs for dinner and they let me share some. It was very tasty! My cousin Popcorn couldn't come, he wasn't feeling very well. He's still adjusting to his new daddy and brother. But hopefully he'll be over soon! Then he can visit my kittens that are staying with us. One of them is my new brother Aremis! He doesn't do much yet, but I'm sure he'll be fun when he grows up!
Oops...
Mommy got very upset with me this weekend. Saturday night was a very sleepless night, so of course I followed her in and out of the bedroom every time she left. And those bowls of cat food were just so tempting, and it had been HOURS since my last meal... and D'artagnon really is fat anyway, so I figured I was helping everyone out by sneaking just a few pieces. And then a few more. And before you know it, both bowls were empty... and I had a bellyache. :-(
Well right about then, Mommy decided to wake up early and tried to give me breakfast. I couldn't eat a bite, so I laid down for a nap instead. That was a mistake- Mommy knew something was wrong. We went straight to the vet, and that mean old doctor took an x-ray and saw the food and squealed on me. I guess vets are extra-expensive during emergency-only hours, because Mommy wouldn't speak to me all day. And I had to take some really awful chalky medicine for my bellyache. It was not a good day.
That afternoon, Mommy put a baby gate up and put the cat food bowls behind it- no more midnight snacks for me. Drat...
