Well, I came into this world under not so glorious circumstances. I most likely was born in a puppy mill, my mom was probably still a puppy herself...I don't remember her too much, because I was taken away from her when I was way too young. Then I went to live in a glass box all by myself...it was much nicer than some of the places my brothers and sisters went, but still a glass box. People would come in all day long, pet me, play with me and then leave. Then one day this nice girl came in for a look. She played with me for such a long time, she would pet my friends that were also in glass boxes, but she she always came back to me. But then she left, and I was so sad. But, she came back the next day and played with me again! But again, she left after a while. I didn't want her to go...I thought she left because I ruined her sweater with my sharp puppy teeth. I thought she was gone for good. I kept watching for her all the next day, but she didn't come in. The lights went out in my glass box, and that's when I realized that she wasn't coming back. But then, not five minutes later, there she was, standing outside the door, peering in the window. The door was locked and she was looking for me. She couldn't see me because I had gotten a new glass box. She thought I was gone and went away looking so sad. But still, she came back the next day, just to make sure. She walked in and saw that there was a sign on my glass condo that said I was "Special! $100 off" I always knew I was special, I guess this chick needed some convincing? She took me out to play...and this time she didn't put me back!!! She picked out some nice toys, a harness and leash, some food and treats, and puppy pads (ha ha!). We got in her car, stopped at PetSmart for some more toys and nice comfy bed and a crate, then for the long drive "home".

Finally, we got to my new home. It was so much bigger than any of my other homes. It was clean too! I get to play with my mom all the time now. I've got her wrapped around my little paw!

A lot of people tell my mom that buying me from the pet store was a mistake. She says that she never wants to support one of those puppy mills again, but doesn't regret her "mistake" one bit! I sure as heck am glad that she made the "mistake" in buying me! I wouldn't trade her for anything. I'm pretty sure she feels the same about me. Sometimes, usually after I do a real bad "no-no", she tells me I'm going up for adoption. I don't really know where that is, but it seems like a nice place, because right after mom says that, I flash her those irresistable "Puppy Dog" eyes, and I get lots of hugs and a treat!
