Oliver was surrendered to the HSBC when he was just 10 weeks old. His previous owners who bought him from a breeder (for a mere $1500) decided to have him put to sleep because he wasn't "acting like a puppy." After an extensive medical exam, x-rays, the works, it was determined that he was not UTD on his vaccinations, he had kennel cough, severe dehydration among other things. He came to my home as a "foster puppy." Of course after round the clock caring for 2 weeks there was no way I could not adopt this little guy. Besides, he and my Sheltie Dancer became quick pals. What a blessing he has been.
Oliver is the "man" of the house. He enjoys doing pet therapy work with the Humane Society of Broward County. He loves playing with his sisters Cali & Sydney. He also loves his cat and ferret family. His best friend was Dancer who passed over the Rainbow Bridge on 10-28-2005. Oliver loves to do "the wiggle" for everyone. He has a great personality and loves to be the center of attention! Oliver has trained many other dogs to do pet therapy and is the spokesdog for the education department on pet therapy for the Humane Society of Broward County. Oliver has earned his CGC, CD and CDX titles.

Dancer and his brother Oliver were always together and shared many wonderful years. Dancer got his name because in his younger years he loved to do the 2 step.
Dancer was smart, sensitive, caring and loved everybody. He was great at herding his ferret and cat family. Dancer's loving memories will live on in the lives of those who loved him.
I know we will be together again at the Rainbow Bridge. The cruel irony is that those who give us the greatest amount of love and friendship, one day also give us the greatest amount of sadness when they are no longer with us.
Our sweet Dancer boy will now watch over and protect us. Because to live in the lives of those who love you, is to never die.
I know now that the hardest part of being alive, is living without those you love. We love and miss you each and everyday. May God keep you and bless you until we can again be together.
