Lucy, hope you're staying cool. Got the bark...arrooooo!

That's a special sound we samoyeds make. Some people think it sounds like we're trying to talk. Another dumb human misconception, because we are talking. Just not the way they do. (My mom says arroos sounds more like gargling!)

Yes, poms and eskies are a lot alike. As much as I like your siblings, I'm especially fond of spitz-type dogs...from malamutes to poms, we've all got pointed ears, curly tails, and longish noses.

(My mom started going on about how some eskies actually have some pomeranian in them, because they organized the breed only about fifty years ago and went back only three generations...she and the other samoyed people are pretty sure they pulled in some white poms, the smallest samoyeds, and maybe a few other white spitzes. But the samoyed people and the eskie people don't always see eye to eye anout family origins. I say, geez, we're all dogs)

Anyway, gotta go. Time for my "infection pill" which I think mom is going to roll up in a pepperoni piece tonight. I figure if I keep pretending I don't know I'm gulping a pill, she'll keep hiding them in peanut butter crackers and pieces of sausage. Humans!

hello everyone, we haven't been on for a few days so we weren't exposed to any glitches. but it is nice to hear from ya'll. we have been getting alot of rain, mom loves what the mud does for her new floors, not. oh well she doesn't mind she loves us too much. can't wait to hear from you again...

Hey all you guys,  Boy, we know what you mean about this MDS!  Hope it is better today.  We felt so bad last night.  Everytime mom tried to send a bark, she'd type it and hit that blue button and just sit.  9 times out of 10 it got lost somewhere.  Who knows, maybe someone else got it.  Will we ever know??  And, we wanted to send barks to so many pals last night too!

You guys talk about hot!!  Here in Texas, we are at about 51 days straight that it has been over 90 with some of those days over 100.  To me (and my mom) that is tooooo hot!  Oh well, this is the heart of Texas.  Guess ya gotta expect it.  A few days under 90 would be nice though.  We'd be lookin for a sweater (bol).

Hey Tuck thanks for the post...It's hot in Iowa too, I hate it!  My mom barely lets me go do my business...Hey quick question...are you a jayhawks fan being from kansas and all?  cuz my mom is a HUGE jhawks bball fan...every season she puts me in a jayhawk bandana for every game...she is nuts...how bout you? 

Hey LLMMB and T, I'm sorry it's so hot down in Kansas. We've got weird weather up here on Lake Superior--we went to the grocery store last night and my mom had to hunt up a sweater in the truck!

But it's been pretty hot here, not as hot as in Kansas. When we go out and people ask if I'm hot I feel like telling them that if it's not January, I'm probably a little warm. But my mom just tells them I was born in Florida and that we like it a lot better up here. Then we usually go to the Dairy Queen and get a dog sundae. Yummm! They put a couple of biscuits in a small (way too small, if you ask me) glop of that soft ice cream.

We don't stay out very long in the summer. Not long enough! The wind from the lake and the dog sundaes keep me pretty cool, but my mom says she doesn't want to take chances with me getting too hot.

It is another hot day. We are in the upper 90's here in Utah. Anyway, the site has been acting up. I've been having probs also since yesterday. Mommy says she will be unhooking the computer tommorow because we are going to be moving to our new apartment. She said I won't be able to play on dog space until daddy rehooks everything uo this weekend. I will miss u guys for the next few days.  Bark at ya soon.
