Kendra is a crazy girl.  She is almost 1 1/2 yrs old.  She was born with Demodectic mange and has been mange free for 8 months now and going strong.  We were going to buy her from byb before we knew any better.  When she got sick with her 7 brothers and sisters the breeder surrendered them to the rescue.  Then she came to us as a foster and we shortly adopted her there after.  We lover her to death but she was just so lonely.  So we adopted another husky, her mom Maya.  Maya was also surrendered and went to an adoptive home.  They didn't treat her mange correctly so she came to live with us and is her to stay. 

Maya was bred before the age of 1.  Her and her puppies had demodectic mange.  A genetic mange that causes little mites to live in hair folicles irritating their skin.  She lost all her hair after giving birth and lost quite a bit of weight.  The breeder surrendered her along with her 7 puppies to a siberian husky rescue.  She was adopted out for a year but the adopters couldn't handle her mange so she was returned.  She then went to foster and then came to live with us.  She's smaller then her daughter Kendra.  She's a little shy at first and was food aggressive twords Kendra but now they love each other.  We lover her also and will not let her go.
