Our Vacation

My best friend, Shivers and I just got back from a GREAT vacation to Wild Wonderful West Virginia. My Mommy and Marianna and Shivers Mommy and Daddy (my grandparents) went with us. We went to see our cousins: Kyra (the Great Dane), Sadie (the mix) and Sam (the dachsund). Also our 3 cat cousins Murray, Blizzard and Jr. Ghost. We had a great time, and a really long car ride. (20 hours each way and with no incidents) The mountains are really pretty and there are lots of wide open spaces for a dog to run! I also had big fun chasing fireflies. They are really neat! I met a new puppy named Crash! He is a cute little Husky that my Mommy's friend Randi had just gotten a few days ago! I missed Sagwa and Sheegwa (Mommy's rabbit and cat) while I was gone and they seemed happy to see me when I came home. I hope to get some of the pictures put up pretty soon, but until then I will be sniffing around the house to see what is new since I have been gone. Til next time licks and wags to all!

Scooby has gone to the Rainbow Bridge

  My Mommy is very sad!! She talked to her sister yesterday evening and my cousin Scooby, who was a 14 year old Lhasa Apso, went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday afternoon. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 6 and finally with congestive heart failure at age 13. Scooby's Mommy is a veternarian and she had kept him well alot longer than most dogs in his situation would have been, but in the end we all must go and wait for our Mommies and Daddies. Please keep Scooby's Mommy (her name is Desiree) in your thoughts and prayers.
