My name is Lizzy and I am a Pembroke Welsh Corgie. I was born in Ohio, but I was adopted by a loving family from New York and that's where I have lived ever since. My family consists of my mommy - Kathy, my daddy - Martin, and my brother - Mitchell. I, also, have grandparents living very close to us - so I always have some watching over me... I know.. I am very lucky!
I am very affectionate with my loved ones, but I tend to be shy around strangers.. that is until I get to know them ... and then I am all over them .. like there is no tomorrow... LOL Yeah.. Though, it's not easy to laugh with a bone in my pearly whites ~_^ ...
My family is awsome! They spoil me left and right... My brother plays with me a lot and so does my daddy. My mommy is always there when I need a hug... I, also, enjoy sleeping next to her bed at night. My grandpa takes me for walks a lot during the day - many little walks every day... and my grandma always brings me treats - not just any treats - home made delicious goodies.. Yummm.... Did I mention I was lucky? and spoiled? I am .. I am... I am... woof woof =P
My favorite things to do are playing tag, fetching toys, looking at my family at work around the house and sleeping -_- .. Yup! I love napping =p
I have 3 cousins - 1.Corky - he is a welsh corgie like me - we haven't hang out in a while .... I miss him... 2.Kora - she is a beautiful german shepard ... and 3.Saby - she's my newest cousin whom I haven't had a chance to hang out with YET...
I have 3 dog-neighbors... I don't see them a lot, but we always compete at who barks lauder... healthy competition - after few minutes I get tired and I take my beauty rest - yeah... napping time here I come...

We're always having fun, mum has stopped letting us sleep in her room as we chase eachother round the bed then over the bed then round the bed then over the bed..... wish you could come and play too!! x x

Let's see...mom started me out really early with puppy school, and then moved us up through obedience and started on agility. She found a great club in the area that teaches positive reinforcement...we get lots and lots of treats for doing the right stuff! They also use something called a clicker, which basically makes a quick sound when we do something right, so we know exactly what we did to get the treat! Mom says I'm wired differently than a lot of other dogs, though, which makes competing in trials difficult (I lose focus easily, then get scared ^^;; ). My sis True is just starting out with her obedience stuff (she didn't even know sit, can you believe it?) so now we train together with our sit-down-sit-down (puppy push ups!), stays, etc.
I'm going to be going to an agility demo for our club on November 10th at a doggie bazaar in our area. If you have stuff like that around you (pet expo, etc!) sometimes that can be a great way to find a club that teaches cool stuff like agility (doggie obstacle course), flyball (for dogs that love chasing balls!), rally (competition obedience), etc. All dogs can play!

Woof! You and your family all look so beautiful! We each train once a week at our club, but we also practice some at home, too :). Always on our sits/stays/downs/comes (mom can be so booooring!), but then we also go over jumps out in the backyard, and that's fun as long as mom has good treats (she made the best turkey dog bits last night! *drool*).
Give your two-legs a lick for us!
