Hi Manna and Gracie, what’s shakin? Sorry it’s taken us so long to respond. Mommy and Daddy went away on their annibarksery. And you know what? THEY DID NOT BRING US BACK ANYTHING!! Our friend Lissa told on Sable about stealing some chicken off the table so mommy said we didn’t deserve anything. It wasn’t me (Chi)..it was that greedy Sable. I was leaving it. Lissa took pictures of us playing with Logan, her two year old two-legger. He was fun! He kept dropping food for us…we had pop tarts and spaghetti…wow what a great combination. You should try it sometime. She also took a couple of videos but Mom is having trouble saving them to her puter so she can put them up. In one he’s “tickling” Sable. He went after me, but I thought that boy done lost his mind. We won 8 Gold Medals in the 2008 Summer Olembics! Michael Phelps ain‘t got nuttin on us! (that's going on Olie's and Ember's page). They are on my BFF list. Everybody can enter and compete..you should stop by and check out the blog. I guess you’ve heard we are going to postponed our pawty that was scheduled for Friday? We decided that we wanted to do a memorial for Laura, Carla’s daughter, on Friday instead. One from her MDS furends. We just want everyone that feels led to do it, to go and leave comments, pictures, flowers, candles, butterflies, poems..whatever. I know she feels all the love from everyone at MDS. There has been so much sadness on MDS lately. Please go check out our blog on cancelling the pawty there is an update about two more families that have experienced losses this week. We just want everyone to know that we appreciate each and everyone of you. Everyone hascontributed to us in your own way…taught us (and mom) things, listened to mom, sent comforting and caring messages about great grampy. MDS has a Pawsome community who really care about each other, some they’ve never even met before, which is our case. We haven’t ever met anyone on here personally, but we consider you all very good friends (and so does our mommy). Thank you !

I may not be barking so frequently these days. Daddy says there is something on tv call the old limpics which he has to watch. Why would he want to watch the handicapped anyway?

Hi Pals!..Well our mom is on one today! Today is laundry day and mommy HATES laundry day. We do our very best to help her. We smell them first and then we roll around on them to get all our doggy smell on them so they will smell better. We really haven’t figured out what the problem is anyway, we smell them and they smell ok to us. Especially the wet ones that have the Daddy Smell on them after he’s come in from working outside. Mommy says that’s not a good smell, that’s sweaty dirty smell and we get in trouble for rolling on them and WE’RE JUST TRYING TO HELP. Then she starts picking up around the house and all our toys are everywhere. So she starts singing this song…99 Bobos on the floor. It goes 99 Bobos all over the floor, 99 Bobos all over the floor, pick one up and throw it in the trash… 99 Bobos all over the floor. THE TRASH! We started hiding our toys quick! And for those that don’t know Bobos are the best all time ever toy. And besides that we only have 6...the woman can’t count! And it’s the only stuffed toy Sable and I have never ripped all the stuffing out of and she wants to throw them in the TRASH! For those that don’t know this is a Bobo and every doggie should have at least 6. They come in a variety of colors and are squeaky and bendy and great shaking and tug toys. This is a Bobo

. Ok that’s our fuss for the day. Mom and Dad are going to try and go away for the weekend for their anniversary and we get to stay with our friend Lissa. We’re not too upset, it’s only a couple of days and they really need it right now. Mom hasn’t put up a new calendar because when she checked it she said there wasn’t anything fun for us doggies for the next couple of weeks. But the last week she says has lots of good stuff. So she will put one up then and Junior the Studley Samoyed will be the calendar Hottie. .

Have you heard we are having a Pawty on our page on Friday August 22 at 6pm central? It’s going to be a 50s pawty and everyone is invited. Pass the word around to all of your furends

ok, now I'm gonna hide that tv remote when everyone goes to bed tonight!  My supposed loving family just took several years off my doggie life while watching the end of the US Olympic Men's Swimming Relay.  Sheeesh!  A pup is soundly sleeping and this ruckus breaks out...I thought the squirrel brigade must have invaded.  That's it...I'm done hangin out with this nutty family while this 'Olympics' is on.

Hey there Girly Girl and Gracie!  What's waggin' on the east coast?  It's been awhile since I've had a chance to bark at my pals on MDS.  And now, for some silly reason my family is watching the tv all the time this weekend.  Something called the 'Olympics'.  Frankly I don't get it...I mean I don't see a one of those so-called "athletes" jump and catch a frisbee in their mouth, squirrel-chase or anything!

Hey, dad is pretty proud of me this week.  It got really hot this week and the front door of the house was open to catch a breeze.  Usually it is closed.  Well one afternoon a door-to-door sales guy wandered up on the porch and got to the door.  I smelled him before he had a chance to knock or ring the doorbell.  I barked at him to stay where he was.  Since I usually don't bark, Dad came quickly to the front door to see what the commotion was.  He told me to sit and stay, which I did.  But I kept barking at the stranger.  Dad stayed beside me in case I decided to not continue my 'sit/stay' and asked what the stranger wanted.  By now the stranger had backed up to the edge of the porch (with one foot feeling for the first step in case he needed to run) and was holding out something in his hand to give to dad.  Now this just made me bark more.  The stranger said he was from an alarm company and wanted to tell dad about a special they were having.  Between my barks dad said, "No thanks"  Not taking the hint (must be a cat person) the stranger kept talking about his alarms and keeping homes and families safe.  Over my barking, dad points to me and shouts "Really?!?!" (BOL...woof to that dad!!!)

The nerve of that stranger thinking I wasn't going to do my job.  I kept him backed up didn't I?  Show me an alarm system that efficient!  Dad gave me the double ear scratch and a treat once the stranger left and we closed the front door (I think Dad was afraid I might wander out to give him another piece of my mind!)  I used to think the squirrels were the dumbest things I had ever encountered.  Now I'm not so sure!
