It's been so long!
Hey everyone!!!
I has been a very long time since I’ve been on. Moms been soo very busy with school, but now shes done with two of her summer classes and will be a nursing school graduate in August. Shes been in school forever. I can’t wait til shes done so she can stop reading and play with me more!!! So I’ve just been hanging out with dad and playing with my cousins. We have a new neighbor named Jack who is a Jack russell and I like playing with him very much as well. Mom is also teaching me how to do some new tricks like jump over bars and through hoops. Its fun stuff! Anyways I hope to be around more often and I sure do miss you all!!

Turtle Update
While mom and I were taking our morning walk the turtle was out again…However another turtle was with him. They are multiplying! This is becoming a problem…...what to do, what to do?
Turtle Warning
Welllllll I just thought I should let you all know I discovered something yesterday that was very interesting. Mom and I were taking our usual walk around the pond which is filled with geese and ducks that I like to chase (although they are very mean). So I was trotting along by the water and I saw this funny thing that I thought was a rock, but when I got closer it poked out a head!!! So I jumped at it. Unfortunately it belly flopped into the pond (I would have too but mum had me on a leash). So then It started swimming and turned back and poked out its head and I swear it stuck its tongue out at me. So Mum was laughing and she called this thing a turtle. I just thought I’d warn you all about them. They are tough to catch because their body is like a rock and I can’t get my mouth around it! I will be on the lookout for more though and keep you updated!

Here are my (Lexi’s) 7 facts:
I chew all my toys until they are destroyed (I even destroy Kongs)
I’m the smallest dog out of my cousins but I think I’m the boss and can kick all of their butts
I hate wearing bandannas, but don’t mind dresses too much
I make dramatic sounds when mom holds me to long
I hide all of my bones in different places, like dirty laundry, under the couch, in the couch cushions (even though mom has a perfectly acceptable toy basket).
When I get too excited sometimes I nip mom or dads nose
I ALWAYS try to get into someones mouth when giving kisses

Well I just thought I should let you all know what my daddy did to me the other day. Mom was out doing grocery shopping for her grandma so she left me at home in my crate (because we all know what happened last time I was left out by myself). Well anyways I guess mom took a little while at the grocery store so dad got home before she did which doesn’t happen to often. So dad walked in and apparently was under the assumption that I was out with mom. He went into the kitchen and started making food and didn’t even let me out of my crate!!! Then after about 10 minutes he walked passed my crate and realized I was in there with my ears pinned backed because I thought maybe I did something wrong :( Well…he apologized and mom babied me when she got home and bought me a new pink bandana and some new toys. I can’t believe my own daddy forgot about me!

Yesterday Mom and Dad decided to order some pizza which was really exciting to me of course. Well they thought they could trust me and leave me out of my crate for the 15 minutes they were gone to pick up the pizza. Boy were they wrong. When mom came home she peaked through the back window to see what I was doing. Well she couldn’t see me so she was a little worried, but then…..She looked up and there I was on top of the kitchen counter getting ready to dive into the sink for some leftover bacon!! I had also tore apart any piece of paper I could find into itty bitty little pieces. Including dads receipt for the brand new TV he bought. Oops!! Well needless to say I don’t think I will be able to stay out of my crate again for awhile. It’s okay I had a goodtime while it lasted!
A Dogs Life
Woof Woof hey fellow pups,
Its getting very cold here in Michigan and I am not liking it very much. The other day this weird stuff came from the sky that my daddy calls "hail". Whatever it is, it’s not very friendly. Anyways, my parents have the weekend off so we get to play!! Unfortunately, my great grandma is in the hospital so my mom will be with her this weekend. It’s going to be me and dad! Hopefully I will get to see my cousins, I haven’t seen them in over a week
