Hi Lexi Jade. Thanks for the bark - running out of treats is indeed a terrible thing. We hope you get some more soon.
We had a great walk this morning. When our dad comes with us, which he usually does, he has a specific route that he likes to take every time, and the exact same turn-around spot. Morning after morning, always the same. But when Mommy takes us by herself, it's much more fun.
First, she NEVER goes the usual way. That in itself is a good thing. But she often gives us a special treat; when she says the word "Adventure" that means that we get to pick which streets we want to turn down and explore. We had an adventure this morning, which might not sound all that exciting to humans, but we canines know the worth of different trees to mark, different patches of grass that require sniffing every blade, fireplugs that have many messages on them, etc. We hope you had your own adventure today, however you might define it.

Hi again. Thanks for the bark. Did you have any excitement at your house today? We sure did.
We think our mommy may be in training for Dancing with the Stars. Here is what happened when we got up. As usual she took us out in our backyard ASAP after waking up (we have her well trained to do that - only problem is from April through November we have to be on our leashes even in the yard due to the Bufo Toad problem - then as soon as she gets dressed we have our real walk). Anyway, as usual she was in her nightgown - let us assure you it is at least as modest as a typical summer dress - in length, neckline, and lack of ability to see through it. There is NEVER anyone out back; our yard faces a lake. Well, we had been out only a short time when a man passed between our back fence and the lake. We were so surprised we didn’t even bark. But you should have seen our mommy. We swear she jumped three feet in the air, did a pirouette, and managed to tug us into the house in less than 10 seconds. That woman has talent; too bad she lacks grace. Just joking, we love her anyway but it was a sight to see. We have to hurry and post this before she sees what we’re up to.

Hi Lexi Jade. We just met two bussels griffons at the dog park Sunday - it was our first encounter with your breed. They were quite fast and super energetic. Is that typical of your breed? We look forward to getting to know you. You sure are cute.
