I miss her so much
Message from my mom: I was cleaning my car today and I found the papers from the vet from when we took Maya to be put down. It was a stupid bill titled 'euthanasia'. It just brought everything back, even though its been over a month. I miss her so much.Costumes=Abuse?
I dressed my new puppy up as a jack-o-lantern for Halloween this year... (we had a 'practice run') He didn't fight it and he pranced around the house showing off! People who don't understand tell me I'm being mean to my dog, but I see it as a bonding moment! Plus the costume was really put together well and the inside was lined with a cool material.
He looks SO cute!!
What do you think? Is dressing up pets really abusive?? Or a bonding experience?
How Safe is your Yard???
My dog passed away two weeks ago after eating poisonous seeds from a plant many people keep in their yard. She ate Sago Palm Seeds... most common on the coast... Galveston, Houston, anywhere in California and Florida...
I had no idea these seeds could be so deadly! PLEASE educate yourself! Know what plants you have in your yard, front AND back, and make sure they're not toxic. If a dog even licks the bark of a sago palm tree they could die.
Other common plants such as Lantana and Azaleas are poison as well. Below is a list of plants to watch out for. The ones in bold are the most toxic.
