I'm an English Coonhound/Springer Spaniel mix. Mom says I'm the best dog ever, even though I got into the trash. It just smelled SO good! 

As of Saturday I'm officially a HUGE fan of camping. Mom and dad took me camping with grandpa and I got to run and run and run and swim and swim and swim so much!!  I got to eat "camp food" and just lay around in the sun all day...they even let me ride in the back of the pick-up! After spending a month in a concrete cell I must say that I prefer my family much more!

I'm really big and so is my heart.  If you need a hug, I'm the dog for the job... I'll hug and cuddle until you're back to your peppy self again!

Maya is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. She passed away on September 28, 2007.  She slept on the foot of the bed and kept mama's feet warm in the winter... She always looked to me for advice, love, and comfort... We depended on each other. She was the softest dog I've ever known... she had a beautiful coat that was brown and tan and beige. She just had her first "senior" exam, she should have had many, many more years. She was only 6 1/2.
