Hi Pals!!!! OMD.....long time no bark - huh?!!!

i'm sorry!!! mom has been super busy with all kinds of things. she got laid off in february so she was trying to find a new job. no luck though so she decided to try & start her own business as an interior decorator; so she has been really busy trying to get that off the ground. also daddy had an idea for a business to start so mom has been doing some research for that.
 
AND...on top of all that mom & dad's 10yr wedding anniversary is october this year so they have decided to do a big vow renewal ceremony. so mom has been super busy planning & coordinating all that....getting her dress, daddy's tux, picking place, yada yada. cool thing is that i might be able to be part of the ceremony. but mom is waiting to hear back from the place to see if i can be there or not. their coordinator has to ask the owner if it's ok. so we'll see.

wow i sure have missed alot since i've been gone. thanks to everyone for all the barks & sharing the cute pics. and happy belated birthday to any of my pals that i missed wishing happy birthday to these past few months!
 

hopefully it wont be so long between now & my next bark. hope all my pals are doing great & have a great summer!

mom & dad want to move somewhere cooler REALLY bad!!! the summer here has barely started & it's already WAAAYYYY too hot!! and we still have 2-3 more months of this crap! oh how we miss the cooler weather we had earlier this year. mom & dad are thinking maybe we should move to either southern california or colorado. idk.....we'll have to see what happens.

hello our friends!! well, mum is letting us bark today. she has quite a bit of time off work this week because its been very quiet for her over jan. which she is not happy about because she is trying to save money. mum works funny shifts, which makes it hard for us to bark. she works a little in the morning, and a little in the evening. she is not home much. and sometimes for her shifts she has to wait around as there are all different times she starts. we hope you have all been well. what have you all been up to? mum has been walking us, and playing with us a lot. mum also says that i, shelly, have been getting better with strangers coming to visit the house. we are still living with mums parents, and they still have people over a LOT. so ive had to get used to that. and i dont even bark at the strangers as much, except when other strangers walk with their dogs past the lane way past our house. i have been getting better with my walks too. mum says i just plod along now and not even cars coming up behind me is worryig me now. but mum has also been laughing at me because when its hot and we are walking i stop under all the trees in the shade. well i DO have black fur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have still been wearing my halti, other wise i would be pulling mum! BOL.. i would love to see mums face as she tried to keep up with me. leon has been sleeping a LOT, and he dosent have as much energy as he used to. AND we both have fleas... UHHHHGGGGGHH!! thats the only bad thing about summer. its so hard to keep the fleas at bay.. speaking of summer, its been really hot here, but we have also had some rain off and on and it rained at the start of summer. the humidity has been terrible & just last night we had TWO thunderstorms... which mum and i are not happy about! we wanted to send you all a friendship rose today for love, because we love you, all our friends. we wanted to say thanks for barking at us while we have been busy and thanks for sending us the christmas cards too. we LOVED them all. and we LOVE all of you. we hope to be back to barking normally soon. not much else has been happening. we hope all your christmases and new years have been good. we dont know what happened to last year, it was over too soon!! we hope this year will be good for all of you!!

we know it has been getting longer and longer in between barks, and we are sorry for that! in the new year we are hoping to be able to bark more often. Actually, that is our new years resolution, we WILL bark more often!! we feel like we have missed out on so much on mds latley. we wanted to stop by and say thank you to each and every one of you for sending such beautiful Christmas cards! we LOVED them!! mum even has a photo album for them all to go into, the cards & the pictures. we still have to send our cards out, so please dont think that we have forgotten you, because we haven't! we love you all, and we could never forget you, our friends :) we also wanted to say,

Hi pals!

Sorry i've been MIA again.  Mom's been really busy.  She had to fire our real estate agent & get a new one.  Plus we had tons of other things going on.  All pretty good though.

Hope everyone has a pawsome Thanksgiving & gets to eat lots of yummy food!  Mom & dad are taking me to the beach.  My grandma's cousin has a beach house so we are all going to have Thanksgiving there.  Mom is hoping that the weather will be nice so that we can take some good pics on the beach.

hi guys! we dont know when thanksgiving is, but we wanted to wish all our friends a happy thanksgiving! we dont celebrate it here in australia, but while we are at it, we just want to say what we are thank full for:
1) our mum and dad for adopting us and looking after us, even if at times we test their patients, and providing us with care and love,
2) all our mds friends, we love you guys!! thank you so much for being our friends over this last year. thank you for barking at us when we've been really busy.
