Memorial Day Weekend
We are home for the weekend and decided not to go away like the big mass exodus we are seeing in New England this time of year, either North to Maine and New Hampshire, or South to beautiful Cape Cod. We love all of these places but we decided to stay home. There is a special peace in solitude, a quiet time to remember those we have lost, our soldiers at war overseas, past and present, and being grateful for those we have today.
It has also been nice to be able to completely focus our entire time on Kitsu and Suki. Suki has been somewhat skittish since the day we adopted her. The breeder we went to also bred enormous Saint Bernards, and we are wondering if their loud barks made her skittish. We also thought that too many new people, foods, and noises combined with the fact that she is still due for some of her shots, would be overwhelming for her. We are laying low and letting her feel secure in her new surroundings. We wish all of our friends on MyDogSpace a happy and safe Memorial Day Weekend. Also we made a post in the "Forums" under "General Topics" called "MSPCA Tips for Having a Safe BBQ Season with Your Pets!" It is always good to remind myself what new things come with each time of year. Again wishing everyone, a calm peaceful Memorial Day Weekend.

We don't blame your decision, if there are two weekends a year our owner won't take us out of town is Memorial Day or Labor Day, there are just to many humans everywhere.
Once Suki figures out that that shes secure she'll relax then after that if shes anything like Orbit, watch out humans!
Hope you all are well,
Buddy and Orbit
