RE: K9 Kings funeral!!!!!!!!
Tessa and I just returned from K9 Kings (Pineville Ky) funeral. Tessa sat proudly as she helped to guard Kings casket. It was an open casket next to his Handlers casket! There were about 20 K9 Officers in attendance for the visitation so we each stood with our dogs for 5 minutes at a time, guarding Kings casket and then we started over at the top of the list! Tessa was welcomed with open arms by the other K9 Officers even though she was retired! Tessa sat proudly taking care of King AND she was able to love on the (Deputy and Kings) two young daughters when they came to the back to see all of the dogs. Tessa clung to the daughters! (I think she knew what was going on!) Tessa wore her retired badge proudly with the black band over it. We honored KING!

Me and mama left a bark on Frosty's blog too. We are soooo sad about this brutal murder of our heroes. Tessa, we are so proud of you, what a good girl you were guarding King's casket. And taking care of his two little sisters he left behind by giving them that love, we are sooo honored to be your pal. What a busy weekend for you, all that and taking care of your mama too. We love you brave sweet girl.
Our hearts go out to our brave policepersons, (male, female and K-9), we love you all and feel the pain when any of our heroes die. All of you are in our prayers as you try to heal from this dreadful horrible murder of two of your own.
We hope those that murdered them are dealt with in the harshest way possible. Even if they are put to death, the horrific pain they leave behind can't be mended, and that sentence is would be too light.
Hang tough guys
