My Dogs

Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier
Size: Large
From: Pound Puppy!

Riley is my first baby. She changed my mind about dogs. She is the grinniest (yea that's not a word) dog. I swear she gigles when you play with her. And she gives the best hugs!

No matter how big Evie gets she's still my big baby. She's always ready to cudle :) Even at 70 lbs she still thinks she has to sit in my lap in car rides (and i let her of course)!

We rescued Sammie about 1 1/2 months ago. We fell in love with her but with 2 others dogs and 2 kids and 2 cats we can't keep her :( Her previous owner had 4 babies they weren't taking care of. We rescued her sister first and found her a new mommy in less then a week. Evidently the dogs were left out side and not fed. When they'd try to come in the house he'd kick them and hit them until they were too scared to come near the door. When we got Sammie she was skin and bones and a BIG "scaredy cat". (who could blame her???) Now she's healthy. Her coat shines and her eyes sparkle! She still gets scared coming in the house. We play hide and seek. We'll open the door and hide and she'll come in. When our kids (ages 8 and 6) open the door she'll come right in. It's just big people she's scared of. We've potty trained her. She hasn't had an accident since the first 2 weeks. She's crate trained. She's good with our other two female pit bulls. She's the smallest but she plays well (and holds her own). She's really smart. She knows basic commands. Sit, lay down, go to your room, go to bed.
She's up for adoption. We hate to see her go and will be very very picky of where she goes. She's a good girl. She's sweet and pretty and deserves a GREAT home. There is a reasonable re-homing fee being asked.
***UPDATE: Sammie is no longer looking for a home, she found one in our hearts! :)***
