My name is Grizzly Bear ... but my friends just call me Grizzly. I am a full blooded chocolate labrador and extremely spoiled. I love to hang out with my parents and my best friend T*R*O*U*B*L*E*. My favorite activity would have to be chewing. I'm not picky I can chew whatever, whenever. I also enjoy playing chase!! Sometimes, when Daddy wants to play fetch I act like I'm playing until I get right up to him and then stop, stomp my paws, and take off! I love it when he chases me, but I am WAAAAYYYYY faster than him so sometimes I have to slow down and let him catch me so that he will keep playing. I am full of energy and full of love. I LOVE my morning runs with Daddy and my lazy time with Mommy. I HATE the word kennel, but I'ts kinda growing on me. I couldn't have a better life :)

You know you are right. My sister Gracie, um only 3 months old, but she saw the tree and thought good place to poop too. Mom watched in fear this morning when she dropped 3 long pieces right on the beige satin skirt. My mom said EEEKKKKK!
Dad came running in with paper towels and wipes. Mom can't even get back there but Gracie managed to poop.

Thought more about yorkies in general and Zoey in particular. If she is especially shy around your Daddy she may have been abused by a male so it will take more time for her to trust him. I have a friend who adopted an abused Havanese and it took over a year for him not to be afraid of her husband. One more thing I thought of about yorkies - of the six I have owned over the years, five have had one special toy that they slept with. I was always careful to make sure that special toy was not community property to be shared by the other dog (I always have two). All other toys were fair game.

Wow I could go on forever with advice about yorkies. The fact that she is shy is unusual - once she realizes she is safe and in a good place you may wish she was still shy! Yorkies are headstrong, hard to potty train, stubborn, and extremely loving. They are also independent in terms of making up their own games. And they are possessive of their humans. She will probably try to be Grizzly's boss. Think of her as a large dog in a small body. If you have specific questions, please ask and I will answer. In the meantime, please keep me updated.
