Hello all

My mom was dropped off in front of the humane society one day. The nice people there took her in and it is a good thing they did because the same day she had puppies( me & 4 otheres but one died). Some time later 2 nice people came and adapted me. Now I live in a great home with my mommy (my daddy left us).  My new house has a fenced in yard and i have 2 puppies to play with.

I get lots of attention at home, which i love. if i had it my way my parents would not go to work, so they could stay and play with me. I love the water hose and sprinklers but hate baths and the rain.

I love to eat ants. I recently discovered that snakes dont like me even though i like them.  I love ice cubes, dog treats/human food (will do anything for them). I am a bit hard headed and will eat things/do things i am not supposed to (when i am mad or bored).

Milo is a greyhoud, we got from a rescue group. when he was about 2 i think.  Milo was an awesome dog, he listened, played all the time and loved his walks. He was very smart, he would learn things quickly (how to use stairs, how to get the treats/human food he wanted and how to do basic commands, sit, stay, etc) Greyhounds are not supposed to be left outside in an unfenced yard with out a leash on bc they will run after squirells and things.  Milo was the expection, he would stay in the yard all by him self. he was great. Even my dad liked him ( dad was not thrilled about getting a greyhound).  Milo and i would go to events and talk to people about the dogs and try and get more adapted. 

How he passed away was strange. He was fine all day, playing and acting normal. At night, mom said he was having a hard time sleeping and acting strange. She took him to the vet the next day and he was so sick with cancer, he had to be put down right away.

I miss that dog so much he was so great.

I am not sure when we brought Maquire home, but he was a little over 1 year old. He is a greyhound and if the rescue group did not take him, they were going to kill him. (greyhounds can race up until 5 years old if they are good then they are killed unless they are saved by a rescue group. if they are not good racers, they are usually killed or rescued)

Anyway Maquire is about 7 years old and a great dog, he is very sweet, loveable and easy to take care of. He has low energy and feels like going for walks when and only when he wants to.  if you take him when he does not want to go, he will pull you to go back home or he will pull himself out of the collar and run home with out you. what a brat he is, but we love him dearly.  His day consits of laying in the sun, eating a little and thats about it.
