Bringing down the house...
Well, Mom is upset with Dad and me. She came home from work yesterday to find the curtain that covers the window beside the front door torn down. I have done this before and she usually just hangs it back up. I hate when she does that...I pull it down for a reason...I CAN'T SEE! That curtain really makes it tough for me to protect her against the neighbors and all the people that walk in front of our house. Anyways, I took care of the problem; I destroyed the plastic rod that holds up the curtain. Yep, I chewed it into a million pieces. Just to ensure that that darn curtain wouldn't be up again, I hid part of the rod under the couch. Regretfully, Mom found every last piece.
Dad also got into trouble because he wasn't watching me (I had lured him away with a Playstation game). Anyways, I hate to say, but I heard Mom talk about just buying another rod. All that work for nothing. :( I'll just have to come up with a new plan, I guess!

Gracie ~ it sounds like you're doing this, out of boredom, maybe? Do you get a goood long walk, in before being left home? Maybe you'd be too tired out to be the curtain terminator? Idea: maybe chew the Playstation cord up, instead? tehehehee

We completely understand your need to see outside. We have a very good view of the courtyard of our home from the downstairs, but the only way we can see the street is to go upstairs (which is unused unless we have guests since our human sister went to college). Anyway, every time we go up to check things out we hear "What are you up? Come back down here." Hello, what we're up to is making our security patrol rounds. Sigh. Humans are just clueless about some things.

oh, my ~ that is kinda funny, though.....our mom wants to sometime, leave a video camera going to see what reallly happens when they leave. Jack is really naughty, mom can telll from his expression if he's been up to something ~ like litterbox assistance!
