In Remembrance of Memorial Day, Kitsu and Suki

Hi Gallo and Evol. Yes! We can read your profile now. We hope you don't mind our saying something, but honestly before we couldn't read a thing about you girls. We read and enjoyed your profile, Evol, and look forward to reading Gallo's when she has one. Our parents used to live in Chicago, but that's before we chose to become part of their family.

Our favorite thing in the world to do is swimming; we dive in the pool and retrieve water balls. We usually swim around 4:00 P.M. but today she let us swim two hours early - I (Zack) am not complaining about that part because it usually rains later in the afternoon and we missed swimming the last two days due to rain. But after swimming she didn’t take us for our walk; she said it was too hot as well as too early. After towel drying us, she just sat on a chair in the shade and started reading a book. What were we supposed to do? Quincy seemed content to sit next to her and sniff the air, but I got bored. As I was wandering around I noticed this new stuff, with an interesting smell. I later learned it is called mulch. By then I was wearing quite a bit of it because I rolled in it. Honestly, you would have thought I committed a crime the way she carried on: "Zachery Genender" she said, which was my first clue she wasn’t pleased. "You should be ashamed of yourself." I should? "I bring you out for your favorite game, and for the first time since my fall I did the tossing of the balls for you. How do you thank me? By getting this stuff all over you." Then she tried to pick it out of my fur, piece by piece before going inside and getting our comb. Then I had to sit still while she combed every sweet smelling piece out of my fur, muttering the entire time. I (Quincy) did my best not to smirk.
