Eli is an old sage. He communicates easily and is a friend to all. Raised in the country by the ocean he has enjoyed walks on the beach, chasing rabbits and stealing ladies items from beach blankets. Once he stole a ladies bathing suit top as she was tanning without it. He was smiling with it in his mouth as I chased him along the shore. That was several years ago now.  Eli has recently been diagnosed with lymphomia. He still goes to the beach with us and sits and watch's his girls swim after the ball.We have two other fur friends in the pack, both goldens named Ellie and Abby. I call them "Eli's" girls.

Abby is the Alpha female in the pack of three fur friends. She is loving and devoted to the FurHugger (me). Abba is a total bird dog. She endlessly chases sea gulls and other feathered friends on the beach. She will chase right into the waves, and if they land in the water she will attempt to continue her chase. This gets scarey at times. She had puppies Feb. 17th 2007 and was and is a great mom. She still gets to see some of her pups as 5 live here in town.

Ellie is the "nurse" of the pack. She tends to us all in her own way. When Eli is not feeling well she lies next to him. She will lick his face to wake him and stands by when he can't walk any further.

At night she confidentally climbs into bed with me and snuggled.

Her new thing is making moaning sounds when she wants something.
