I bought Freedom from a backyard breeder and found out shortly after I bought her that she had Parvo but I told the Vet to do whatever he had to do to save her. 3,000.00 later she was ready to go home to start her training as a Search and Rescue K-9. She now saves lives. She is an awesome girl and my very best friend.

Rottie Love Rescue helped me find this little guy, well he is not so little anymore. I should have called him Velcro because he has to be with me at all times, maybe he had a bad experience while he was running loose and he is so afraid to be alone again. But now he also has a job, he too is a Search and Rescue K-9.

Was looking for a just weaned pup to add to the family but this boy was about to be dumped along with a 4 year old female that was about to be shot. The couple that had the two dogs had just had a baby and the wife was afraid that they would hurt the baby so she told the husband to get rid of them. I couldn't take the 4 year old but I told her I could take the 8 month old pup. When I got there to pick up the 8 month old she said that her husband was going to put the 4 year old down because he felt that no one could handle her but him and didn't want to be sued if someone got hurt. He was going to take her out in the country and shoot her!!!!! I talked to him and made him promise that he would not put her down until I had a chance to find her a home. She turned out to be such a sweetheart that we (Rottie Love Rescue) found her a home very fast and I still have Gunar and he is learning very fast and even though he was not a just weaned pup he is fitting in nicely with our family. They both just needed attention that the couple were no longer giving because of the human baby. Bella the female is also doing wonderful and now knows how to play with other dogs.

I just can't seem to find that just weaned pup but this girl needed a home so I took her in too. Family had 3 Rottweilers and a Pug along with 3 kids and were moving but just could not find room for Shylo and even though the Pug came last I guess because of his size they had room for him but not for the one year old female Rottie. They said they named her Shylo because she is just so shy, the gang and I hope to bring her out of it. She is registered and intact maybe when she is much older I will finally get my just weaned pup but for now we are just one big happy family. I think she is either shy or had been mistreated, not sure which but I don't think she will make a good Search dog so she may be my Therapy Dog. She just got home tonight so it may be a day or so before we add her picture.

Dallas picked me when I went to look at a litter of Cocker Spaniels. All the other pups were playing with each other and all of a sudden this little black ball of fur stops playing and turns and looks at me and comes trotting over to me and climbs in my lap and that is when love on 4 legs came into my life. She was with me when my Dad died and when my husband died. Whenever I was said she would crawl up into my lap and paw at my face as if to say I am here for you! I took her through obedience and she got her CD Title even though she was totally blind by that time. Off leash and blind she stayed right by my side through the judging and I know she did it only because I wanted her to achieve it. She is not blind anymore and running and playing in the meadow near the Rainbow Bridge, I look forward to seeing her and walking with her and all my other pups across the bridge to meet my Lord and to thank him for putting them all in my life.
