This is not good

First, let me apologize for being so late in filling every one in on my blood test. This was last tuesday, the test came back fine, red and white cells at acceptable levels, but I have been feeling so tired and sleepy since having 2 chemo treatments back to back.  Dad spoke with Dr Taylor when she called with the results and wanted to know why i was so tired.  Well, to make a long story short, dad persuaded the Dr to run a full panel blood test as well as a urinalysis.  He calls this a “physical in a tube”!  LOL  His train of thought was that if something was wrong with me on the insides this would give us a clue as to what it was.  Liver, kidney, etc.  The regular blood tests are just basic stuff. 

We went back to the vet on wed afternoon so that more blood could be taken and a “clean” urine specimen given.  This was wierd and scary for me,, i have never had a urine specimen TAKEN, if you know what i mean!  Ok, this was 2 trips so far to the vet last week.  

The Dr called the next day with the results,,,Seems my blood and pee are, as she put it, text book perfect!  YES!!  Dad said outloud while still on the phone,,, but that was not the end of the conversation,,, little did dad know that the Dr examined me while i was giving blood and pee.  Dr. Taylor found another lump under my shoulder.  These nodes are hard to feel being so deep in my body.  Dad was not happy,,,Dr Taylor wanted to do another chemo,,, this one is the blue pills dad has to give me with rubber gloves on,, also this one is more potent.  OK, another trip to the vet,,, 3 trips and 2 phone calls with the vet in one week,,, sheesh! 

Well, these pills are kinda rough this time,, i am panting alot and have a wierd smell to my breath and bathroom habits,,, i am still tired, but dont seem to be as bad, just a side effect over all this chemo i guess.  Which is wierd because the first rounds for those 5 months i had practically no side effects at all.

Now, i am tired and pant alot as well as smell funny! 

Dad is very worried and has had a few bad bouts since this latest news. 

The next step is another cbc next tuesday to make sure my marrow is not effected. I am having another problem,, i loved the vet and all the techs the first round,, but now, everytime i go in i start tembling,,,,why did it start this round???  Questions, questions….......................
