I got hooked!
My dad keeps his fishing poles in the blazer. So we went to the store last night to get some snacks, and I got a fish hook in my big droopy lip! I freaked out and mom had to cut the line. We got home and mom and dad had to cut the pointy end off with wire cutters so they could pull it out. I was NOT happy. And now I don’t like fishing poles!:(
Back to my old self
Well, I have been on my soloxine (thyroid medicine) now for about a week. And I am back to my old self. I’m happy and playing again, and all my hair is back. And no more crusty spots. But I still have my pollen allergies and have to take Zyrtec everyday, and it makes me so sleepy. And SNORE. Oh the snoring.
Itchy & Frustrated
I’m having a real problem with Diesel’s skin and coat. He went to the vet, they said it was a bacterial skin infection. So had to take 6 antibiotics a day for 3 weeks. He went back, and they did 3 skin scraping and blood work to check his thyroid. He dosen’t have mange BUT he has a really low T4 level. So now he has to take thyroid medicine the rest of his life. :(
