Hi Diane!

I needed to lose 20 pounds so my vet put me on this diet:

One can of green beans (drained) any variety (but French cut are my faves!)

mixed with one level cup of dry dog food. Mommy adds just a little bit of canned beef or chicken broth to give extra flavor  and she warms up my beans for 30 seconds in the microwave. (Yes, I'm spoiled rotten!) I can have this twice a day and if I still seem hungry, the vet said it's okay to give me two cans of green beans b/c they're very low calorie. For a afternoon snack I can have two or three raw baby carrots, which I love, and mommy bought me sugar free popsicles for an extra special treat after a long, hot walk.
