T.S Hannah and then Ike. A 1-2 punch?
Our county, Middlesex, Va. Has declared a state of emergency as of 1 p.m. today and opened the middle school as an emergency shelter.
Mama & daddy will refuse to evacuate even if it becomes mandatory, because they cant take me and the kitties into the shelters, and they will not for any reason leave us to ride out a bad storm like this on our own.
It was sunny this morning, the the breeze started picking up, and the clouds rolled in, and now its raining, and windy.
Now the news just said we might get hit with Ike right after Hannah!
Uh oh!
( Our Governor just went on tv and said he is sending high water rescue teams to the mountians...WHAT?)

Your in our thoughts and prayers...and I also feel...there might be a hotel that would allow the pets...if not SMUGGLE them in some way...please stay safe..I see all the trees around you in your background wallpaper.Over here in New England...we might get the after affects of Hannah...sometime tomorrow..right now just pouring. We have huge oak trees in our yard that I am worried about also. We put our cars out of the way..so need be..if the trees cause damage to our house..we are out of here quick with our three dogs.

oh please don't take any chances...there are lots of hotels that take pets and surely if there is a state of emergency allowances will be made. please please be safe!!

If Ike comes your way look into hotels that will take animals or shelter just for pets. Make sure the shelter is far from the storm. Be safe, we don't want you hurt.
