Our mommy thinks this is wrong on so many levels.

I know my hair is silky smooth when its dyed, but I also know the damage its doing! I love the idea of a pink dog, trust me, if I could, I would have one. But, I dyed my hair pink once and not only does it take a great deal of upkeep ~ washing with dye in my shampoo, using the dye every couple days to deep the color rich, keeping it off my skin ~ but once it fades, your hair is like straw. The dogs in the pictures are adorable and look fabulous, but they also have skin that will react like ours and after stripping the hair to get it ready for a color like that, there is some definite burning! If there's a difference in a new pet dye, I'm all for it, but I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this to their pal.

My first concern is this...has it been proven to be completely harmless? If it has, have fun with it. We've GOT to use common sense when it comes to our pets, though. We need to always ask ourselves if they are enjoying the unorthodox attention and does it cause them any discomfort in any way. We can NEVER promote the idea that pets are 'fashion accessories'.
