hello our friends!! well, mum is letting us bark today. she has quite a bit of time off work this week because its been very quiet for her over jan. which she is not happy about because she is trying to save money. mum works funny shifts, which makes it hard for us to bark. she works a little in the morning, and a little in the evening. she is not home much. and sometimes for her shifts she has to wait around as there are all different times she starts. we hope you have all been well. what have you all been up to? mum has been walking us, and playing with us a lot. mum also says that i, shelly, have been getting better with strangers coming to visit the house. we are still living with mums parents, and they still have people over a LOT. so ive had to get used to that. and i dont even bark at the strangers as much, except when other strangers walk with their dogs past the lane way past our house. i have been getting better with my walks too. mum says i just plod along now and not even cars coming up behind me is worryig me now. but mum has also been laughing at me because when its hot and we are walking i stop under all the trees in the shade. well i DO have black fur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have still been wearing my halti, other wise i would be pulling mum! BOL.. i would love to see mums face as she tried to keep up with me. leon has been sleeping a LOT, and he dosent have as much energy as he used to. AND we both have fleas... UHHHHGGGGGHH!! thats the only bad thing about summer. its so hard to keep the fleas at bay.. speaking of summer, its been really hot here, but we have also had some rain off and on and it rained at the start of summer. the humidity has been terrible & just last night we had TWO thunderstorms... which mum and i are not happy about! we wanted to send you all a friendship rose today for love, because we love you, all our friends. we wanted to say thanks for barking at us while we have been busy and thanks for sending us the christmas cards too. we LOVED them all. and we LOVE all of you. we hope to be back to barking normally soon. not much else has been happening. we hope all your christmases and new years have been good. we dont know what happened to last year, it was over too soon!! we hope this year will be good for all of you!!

hi pals!!
we know it has been getting longer and longer in between barks, and we are sorry for that! in the new year we are hoping to be able to bark more often. Actually, that is our new years resolution, we WILL bark more often!! we feel like we have missed out on so much on mds latley. we wanted to stop by and say thank you to each and every one of you for sending such beautiful Christmas cards! we LOVED them!! mum even has a photo album for them all to go into, the cards & the pictures. we still have to send our cards out, so please dont think that we have forgotten you, because we haven't! we love you all, and we could never forget you, our friends :) we also wanted to say,
from all of us, we hope all our pals have a safe and happy Christmas. we hope all our pals and their families have a great day! mum WILL be doing some Christmas pictures this year again, and we will be putting them up very very soon. so keep an eye out for those! we love you all, love & hugs,

hi guys! we dont know when thanksgiving is, but we wanted to wish all our friends a happy thanksgiving! we dont celebrate it here in australia, but while we are at it, we just want to say what we are thank full for:
1) our mum and dad for adopting us and looking after us, even if at times we test their patients, and providing us with care and love,
2) all our mds friends, we love you guys!! thank you so much for being our friends over this last year. thank you for barking at us when we've been really busy.

hi friends!! we have been very slack with barking again! at this stage we can only send out barks once a week, with the way mums work is. its just too unpredictable! but we hope you all have been well. we are looking forward to participating in secret santa & christmas card exchange!! that is going to be so exciting, we can not believe christmas has come around again so soon. speaking of christmas, mum is going to decorate our profiles with all things christmas soon, so be on the look out for that!!
this is our weather today.. it just keeps on raining, and not just any rain, but drizzel!! we have had a few days of 40 plus temps (which in australia is very hot!!) and yesterday was cloudy & windy, now today is still cloudy but raining!! then its supposed to be hot again at the end of the week!!!!
here i am, im sooooo bored and wanting to play ball. but no, mum says its a rest day today, what ever that means!!! come on mum, there will only be a little mud!!!!!!!! oh well, looks like its a lazy sleepy day all around...

hello our dear friends, we have been away from mds for quite a while. we are sorry! we have so much to catch up on.
we hope all our friends are well. we have been reading your barks, and we hope that everyone had a great halloween.
mum has been working split shifts and having one and a half days off a week at the moment, her work is just so busy.. so we have been mainly catching up on facebook and twitter. we keep telling mum to bark, but mum has an afternoon off today and she is able to help us now.
in other news, mum and dad took me, shelly, on a mini break! it was my first holiday!
^ here is dad and i, we are relaxing on the front porch. we all needed a little holiday, even if it was for one night, as mum and dad have been working very hard. i was on my very best behaviour and i did not bark or growl at everyone, except maybe the peacocks...
mums also applying for her dream career and has been focusing on that.. we have made a group about that on mds.. "mums journey: becoming a paramedic" we love you guys lots, please know that :)
