Puppy Dog Memories:Jackson

Here is a collection of memories I have with my relationship with other dogs.

Jackson: The dog from across the street

Once, Jackson's owner came over to our house and offered for us to bring Cookie over to their house for the dogs to play together. I really wanted Cookie to meet new friends. So, we walked across the street to their backyard which was occupied with their daughter and dog, Jackson. Turns out that Cookie and Jackson have A LOT in common. They are both the same age, they were both adopted from the same place, and were adopted at the same age. They were running around the backyard with lots of energy, kinda like how when you meet someone in Kindergarten and five minutes later, you're playing like you have been best friends for years. It was the middle of summer and we live in Phoenix, Arizona, so yes, it can get very hot! Fortunately their house has a pool in the backyard. It's funny cause you would think that they would most likly go swimming in the pool right? WRONG! Cookie drank water from the pool instead and Jackson pushed her in! It was the first time she went in water completely and I was scared because I thought that she would drown but surprisingly she was able to swim to the edge of the pool.
