Treadmill? What gives?
Most days mom teases me by saying she is going for a walk – of course with my limited attention span, I only hear the words "GO" and "WALK" and get excited.
It never fails, she means she is going to walk on this motorized belt thing called a treadmill. (We don’t go on too many normal walks because we live on top of a big steep hill).
I just don’t get this treadmill thing. I mean, she is walking forever and gets nowhere. Now this makes no sense to me. Normally, just to show her how much I protest it – while she is on there I proceed to get out every toy from my basket and display them on the floor in front of her. I need to show her just what she is missing out on while she is on that thing!
And she said I should walk on one too and that they make them for dogs. Guys, have you ever been on or heard of such a thing? I wouldn’t be caught dead on one of those unless a sirloin was hanging in front of it on a string.

Yep, Abs....I've not only heard of treadmills for dogs, I've SEEN one on Dog Whisperer on TV. My mom walks to the fitness center everyday...not such a big deal as it only takes 15 minutes each way...and then rides a bike while there that gets her no where! Our moms are sooooo silly! They should put all that energy into playing with us ALL the time. That would make 'em skinny, don't ya think? ***giggles***

my mom has a treadmill...it never moves...now that I have gained 1 pound, cuz my boyfriend is in town, i like his food better than mine, i may be working out soon so i can get back down to that 4 pound slim and trim bod i used to have! poor mom, she is trying to gain weight! she went down to 90!...maybe she should eat more easter bunnies! tia

My mom has one that's supposed to be like a bike, but it's the same thing- she peddles and peddles but gets NOWHERE! Seriously, what gives? Is it because she was too hyper and that's supposed to settle her down? I doubt it- I've seen mom MAD, but never really hyper!

bolbol I (rocko) personally love the walking "thingy" I can walk on it for hours and never get tired, mom puts me on that on rainy days when I'm really hyper or when she doesn't have time to go for a walk. on the other hand Zasha really hates that thing she goes on cause mommy tells her too but she doesn't like it and Mutsy couldn't be happier running on the walking "thingy" she loves it more than I do! bolbol
