Dog Rights
I understand that dogs and ourselves need boundaries. But what I dont understand is why someone would take away a family member simply because of the way that they looked. Looks ARE deceiving. Don't be so quick to judge. For example, Pit bulls, when in the right hands, can actually be the sweetest dogs anyone can ever own. BSL doesn't help at all, it only hurts the families who love the dogs that they are taking away. Every dog is created equal. Who protects us from bad guys?...dogs. Who helps to capture criminals?...dogs. Who helps find the lost, give sight to the blind, give sound to the deaf, give mobility(and etc.) to the disabled....dogs. Dogs have done alot for us, don't they deserve better, NO MATTER THEIR BREED! Dogs are truely more than just man's best friend.

I am very grateful to share this earth with dogs. Literally since the day I was born I have always had a dog. Dogs have been there for me. When I was in elementary school I was picked on frequently. I would always run to my backyard and hug my dog after a rough day. At the time I had more dog friends(mine,strays,and the neighbors') than human friends. I will always feel safe in the presence of a dog. To this day I hang a picture of a Doberman Pinscher above my bed to "protect" me while I am sleeping. So its only natural that I would LOVE dogs and know alot about them.
