It all began back in Washington State.  That's where I was born.  I had several brothers and sisters.  My mom didn't have me back then.  She didn't even know I existed until I was about 6 weeks old.  She lived in Oklahoma and found my breeder online.   My breeder sent my mom some pictures and a video of me.  How could anyone resist that?  What my mom didn't know at the time is that I was nicknamed trouble.  My mom didn't find that out until we met. 

At 8 weeks of age, I got to fly on a big airplane.  That was very scary for me.  I was all alone and there was a lot of strange noises.  I went to Utah and then went to Oklahoma.  My mom was waiting there to greet me. 

When my mom first saw me, she opened up my carrier and scooped me up into her arms.  I didn't hardly move.  I was so scared after the long trip.  After I few minutes, I knew that I was okay and started kissing on my mom.   It was love at first site, for both of us. 

I went home and met my big sister, Magic.  She was a lot older then I was.  She let me play with her and we'd run around our big yard.  That was so fun!  When I was two, Magic got very sick and one day my mom took her out and she never came back.  I was so sad.  A moment of silence for Magic.....

Now on with my story.  My mom took great care of me.  Some would say I was spoiled rotten but I think I deserved it.  My aunt had two whippets also so we got to play all the time.  We'd run and run and run. 

When I was 5, my mom brought home my whippet sister, Timber.  I didn't like her very much at first.  I couldn't be bothered with her puppy ways.  She annoyed the heck out of me plus she was getting a lot of my mom's attention. 

One day, when I was sleeping in bed, my mom put one of Magic's puppy t-shirts on Timber.  Timber then came over to me and we have been best friends ever since.  You can check out Timber on her profile. 

When I was 6, my mom moved us up to Minnesota.  it was soooooo cold there.  I'm not sure what she was thinking.  We stayed inside a lot.  We've been here now for almost 6 years.  I've adapted and even have some pajamas to keep my skinny body warm in the winter. 

About 1 1/2 years ago, my mom had another person move in the house.  I loved her instantly and she became my second mom.  It's the best having two moms!  She says she likes Timber more then me, but I know better. 

At that time, I also hurt myself.  I tore my achilles tendon away from my hock.  I had to go to the University of Minnesota and have a big surgery to put it all back together.  They even had bars on the outside of my leg so that I couldn't move it.  That helped me heal.  I tried with all of my might to get those bars off.  Let's just say that I don't have a lot of teeth anymore and we'll leave it at that.

I now live on 5 acres and even though I just turned 12, I still run and jump and have a lot of fun with my sister.  We love it out here. 

I play with my stuffed animals all day long and still occasionally chase a squirrel or two even though my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be. 

I think it's time for me to go take a nap.  All of this writing has mad me tired.
