Not your typical day at the office!
Good morning to all. It's Monday again and time to go back to work for most. I recently haven't been as active online as I had in the past because I went back to work. I love dogs soooo much that I work at a kennel (with Dogstar!) I absolutely love working there. I take care of and play with pups all day AND I get paid to do it. Elvis isn't that thrilled with it though. He likes having me at home all to himself and he certainly doesn't like me coming home smelling like other dogs. As soon as I walk through the front door, I have to kneal down so he can sniff me from head to toe. Every single dog we have the privelege to care for in the kennel is beautiful in their own way. I hope that through kindness and gentleness, I can ease their anxiety of being away from home and Mom and Dad. We have many "regulars" and everytime they come in, it's liking seeing a dear, old friend.
To those of you who volunteer your time to work with a shelter, KUDOS!!! The animals and I thank you!
