Go Play In Traffic

Why why WHY do people not keep their dogs fenced in/inside the house/on a leash or teather? WHY? Every morning on my way to work I almost hit about 10 dogs (this is no exaggeration). I have to slam on my brakes and swerve all over the road. I swear, some morning I'm going to have a wreck. Some of these dogs are big, outside dogs like Sheep dogs and German Shepherds. And then there are the little dogs like jack russeslls and pomeranians.

I know I know I know that having dogs is a lot like having kids in the respect that we all think we know what is best for not only OUR dogs, but everybody else's dogs as well. I try not to be that way, but I totally am. HOWEVER, I think if you live by a major highway (or by any highway) you ought to keep an eye on your dog and not let it run amuck near traffic.

But that's just me.
