Dog Blog: The hurricane passed (PICS)

WOWZA that hurricane was crazy! Mom was up almost all night (scared) and I was just laying there! Mommy was suprised at how well I acted, I didnt even look up when stuff was hitting the window!! And yes there was stuff hitting the window. The electricity went out at 11 pm last night and was off until this morning at about 11:30, it was really really hot! So we were so glad to get electricity back. Moms grandma, aunt, and her stepdads sister all still dont have electricity so we were lucky to get it back. There is still strong winds out right now and it has been raining pretty hard. Oh and there is stuff outside all over the ground! Mom is just glad that were all safe!

Here are some pics of how it looks on our doorstep and right outside were we live. Its mostly just leaves and parts of trees everywhere.

 UPDATE (Sept. 14)- the power went out again really early this morning and just came back on so I thought I would update. In the 2nd picture: that place looks like a lake right now (all from the rain that happened last night) and there is also a bayou right near us that is almost flooded over and the ditch right in front is filled up to. We are hoping it doesnt flood over! :(
