My parents got me from a guy who was giving away me and my brothers and sisters. Daddy was delivering pizzas at the time and drove past this guy putting a sign in yard saying "free beagle-mix puppies". So, daddy went in and took pictures of us. He emailed them to Mommy, who was still in school 3 hours away. At first mommy said "No" to daddy because she wouldn't get to help raise me. But when she checked her email and saw the picture of me, she changed her mind. She would come home every weekend to visit me and  daddy would take me down to see her. It was great fun!

Now, I live with my mommy, daddy, 2 brothers and a sissy. I'm pretty grumpy toward my younger siblings but when we get out in the back yard we all go crazy! My best friend is my cousin Kai, my grandparents' akita. We have such a good time when I get to go over to my grandma and grandpa's house.

I live up to my name. I am very smart and can figure tricks very quickly. My mommy and daddy named me Sherlock because they were not suppose to get me because grandma told mommy and daddy that they shouldn't get a pet when they moved to their appartment, even though the appartment was pet friendly! Grandma was scared a dog would make too much noise and get them kicked out. Well, mommy and daddy got me anyways (behind grandma's back) and to appease grandma they named me Sherlock because grandma is obsessed with Sherlock Holmes.

This is my story!: Mommy and Daddy had had Sherlock for about a year. They also had a kitty named Moriarty that had wondered into their home and they rescued. The people who originally had Moriarty lived in their building, but couldn't pay their rent so they just left. They took off without any of their things, including Moriarty! Mommy and daddy found him and took him in. Sherlock and Moriarty were great friends and they played together all the time, but Moriarty was not a very good kitty. He knocked over stuff all of the time making a big mess for mommy and daddy. Well mommy and daddy were getting fed up with Moriarty, they loved him but it just was not working out. So they found a nice lady with a dog who would take Moriarty. But mommy was sad and Sherlock was lonely, daddy suggested getting another puppy. Daddy had always wanted a pug and mommy didn't care what kind of puppy they got, she was just excited to be getting another dog! So daddy got online and found a lady who lived really close to them who was going to have a litter of pug puppies.  They told her that they would perfer a male fawn puppy, and she told them we were the first ones who wanted a male. Well, about six weeks later the lady called daddy and said that there was a liter of 6 fawn male puppies! Just what they wanted. The lady sent mommy and daddy pictures of all us puppies. Mommy thought we all looked the same...except me! She said I looked special. And I was!

I love my life. I love playing with my brother, Toby, the most! I am a total Mommy's boy, and love to cuddle with her. I love food. "Bones" and "Food" are my favorite words! I head right to the cabnit when they say them. I can be very jealous of the other dogs when they are getting attention and I'm not, so I just push myself on others. And eventhough, I am very trim for a pug mommy says I weigh 9 gazillion  pounds, but I don't know what she's talking about!

Mommy and Daddy said it was very easy to come up with my name. Dr. Watson being Sherlock Holmes pudgy sidekick. Mommy and daddy thought they were being cute!

Well, about a year after mommy and daddy got Watson. Mommy started getting the "puppy fever" again.  Daddy didn't really want a third dog because it was boardering on being a "crazy dog person" , but daddy did want to move to a house. One that was close their best friends. Well Mommy didn't really want to move but, she said that if she could have a puppy she would move. And she knew that daddy LOVES doxies because that is what he had growing up. So she said she would get a doxie. Daddy hopped online and found a local breeder's website. Mommy really liked the red brindle doxies she had seen. So that is what they got. Mommy picked me out of my litter. I had one brother and 2 sisters. They were all cute mommy said, but not as cute as me!

I am a very crazy pip! I loose my mind out in the back yard. I just love to run and run and run. Watson and Violet will chase me, and sometimes Sherlock! I am very clumbsy and will fall down the stairs sometimes! It is scary for mommy! Mommy says I have "middle child syndrome" because I always want attention and will do anything to get it. I'm very loud when I bark and I bark at pretty much anything that makes a noise. But I'm really scaredy dog!

They named me Toby because in the Sherlock Holmes stories there is a hound dog named Toby that Sherlock has befriened and sometimes uses to help solve cases!

 Bonjour! It is me, Violet! I have the best story of how I came to live with mommy and daddy: A month and a half after mommy and daddy got Toby (so it was the end of november/beginning of december), mommy was looking at the website for the breeder that they got him from and she saw me! I was small and cute and mommy fell madly in love with me! She begged and begged daddy, but daddy said "No". They had fights and fights and daddy still said "No". Mommy even had my name picked out (of course it comes from a Sherlock Holmes character) Everyday she looked at the website everyday and was very sad the day she went there and I was sold! My picture was gone...it was very sad. Then Christmas comes. Aunt Jeff and Uncle Rachel (mommy and daddy's very bestest friends) came over real early in the morning to exchange gifts. After every one had opened their gifts daddy needed aunt jeff's help bringing in a table from our van. When they came back in daddy said to mommy "Dear, I think there was a present out side for you." And it was me! Mommy was so happy she started crying. So what had happened was daddy told mommy he had to work longer than he actually did and went up and picked me up on Christmas Eve. He then brought me over to Aunt Jeff and Uncle Rachel's house and they watched me until we did the presents. Everyone knew about me except mommy!

I am a crazy little girl. My daddy taught me to howl. I am always always always cold. I dig into everything to be warm. I get excited very easily and I am very very spoiled. Being the youngest and the only girl. I love my big brother Sherlock sooooo much! I wish he loved me as much as I love him though.  Oh well!
