Hey Everyone my name is bambi....A page dedicated to me yay yay yay...I ChiHuaHua.....
well once a pon a time around june 5th mommy met my sister TinkErBeLl...a black and white friendly 5ld girl from BroOklyN zOo in BrOoKlyn NeW York....Mommy always loved the Chihuahua breed since she was little but her parents always had great danes...their wondrerful pets too....but kinda large for mommy to hande ..mommys little 5ft.. and 89 pounds....but she misses her best buddy Rocky..a black dane who was her best friend who went to rainbow bridge when he was 11 years old..........anyyyyyyway back to how I met mommy....mommy begggged and beggggged grandma for a chihuahua.....grandma finally gave in....mommy didnt want to go get a chihuahua from brooklyn zoo cause her best friend had gotten a few sick puppies from their
mommy decideed after doing re search, and going to local shealters and not being able to adopt because i had never owned a dog.....and mommy not being too thrilled at local breeders in the ny area
she stombulled apon puppy paradise...she thought well if..jake gylinhall,james Gandolphi and other stars have got pups from here then why shouldnt mommy...mommy first went to go visit puppies on june 15th....i was their...but i didnt go near here..i stay huddled in the back of my cage....mommy was gaga over this grey chipoo...but something was missing....so she left..most of the chis thatlicked mommy were only 8 weeks and quite expensive...so 3 weeks later mommy convinced grandma lets go look again at the puppies.....
on July 10th...mommy came in at 10am and looked around..by this time on 2 chis were left....me and my biological sister brownie..i didnt like her i growled everytime she took my food...melonie my foster mommy the store manager..took me out and i fell asleep in mommys arms....that was it mommy and grandma..left a deposit left....that wednesday mommy came to pay in full for me and visit..i cost a wopping 975.....wow...on saturday...mommy came and picked me up.....wow what a worldwin its been.I dont think i would have lasted without aunt melonies help and care....the first 3 nights i cried and cried....and grandma hated me....but mommy was way happie....in the beginning i was eating ceasers like a little piglet...on day 5 i started bleeding mommy and grandma cried..thought it was parvo.....for the next 6 weeks i went to 2 diffrent vets and lived at the doctors...taking every medicine for everything....mommy and grandma didnt think i was going to live....i even got dyhydrated...but not enough to be hospitalized..mommy gave me powder from the vet....
on sept 4th mommy decided let me get bambi a high quality food..my aunt Norma..my mommys orthopedic drs best friend is a groomer..she said ohh nooo feed him merrick.....mommy did...at first i didnt like the puppy one but i ate it...then 2 weeks later mommy tried grannys pot pie....ive been hooked ever since
my molars came in so i now also eat some dry..merricks before grain chicken..not too much dry cause i get constapated...
I havent been fixed yet...the vet says im small, and anasthsia will be an issue..because i have a possible collapsing trecha...i have grade 2 luxxicating patella so mommy wants to do a surgery for that instead...i have 2 retained baby teeth..which doc says arent bothering me..but mommy feels my molars are an issue..so we will see..
i go potty outside and on my wee wee pad..i have a soft harness that doesnt bother my treacha......i recently became mommys service dog yay...

Sorry that we haven't barked at anybody very much lately. We've been so busy between all of the fostering for Save Our Setters's and keeping up with the day to day stuff.
We just wanted to stop by and let you know that everything is going well and that you are our BFF. We hope that everything is going well with you and your's too.
We are going to brew up a really big batch of good Irish Setter Zen to share with all of our friends!

Good to hear that Bambi is doing O.K. We're so glad that the news wasn't worse on his trachea.
We're still fostering CODIE JOE. It's funny because he is clearly the best of the three that we've had for Save Our Setter, but there has been zero interest in anybody adopting him (so far). That's O.K. since he is such a good boy he is almost no extra work at all.
When I take a nap on the couch in the living room, tradition has it that SUE will curl up around my feet and legs and sleep with me. Now it is a race between SUE and CODIE for the coveted foot spot. SUE is faster (and has much longer legs) so she usually wins. But if she gets up to go check something out the window or to see what Dad is doing - zoom, CODIE steals the spot. I sure feel special!

We would have loved if a dog would have won. I think they don't let us because of no thumb thing.We're glad to hear your leader was helping out! Leader says a African American President is a big step for America. We likes that because on a count of us being black dogs!

Since we have a new pack leader, Bark Obama...(leader: "psst, Oli it's Barack Obama.")
From the top! Since we have a new pack leader named BARACK OBAMA, he promised that -win or lose- he will be getting a puppy for his pack to bring with him to the Big White DogHouse. He made a promise in his speech to top it at that.
I think there was a petition of some sort or messages sent to him that to please adopt a dog. The AKC even narrowed selected some breeds that would fit his energy. They never did however said to go and buy a dog, he can go an adopt a purebreed. The wining choice by the public's vote was the Poodle.
Being mutts here, I think a mutt would be pretty awesome! I think he should get a black dog as it seems that they are less likely to be adopted. I think it's called the "Black Dog Syndrome". We know this too well being that we are black dogs. It seems most people are attracted to Panchita. Well, then again Rocky and I can be a pair of trouble makers.
Maybe the new dog can give him some pointers about what dogs are really thinking! What do guys think the new Top Dog ("Number Two") should be?
